Description
Global company with the latest in material handling and warehouse logistics systems seeks individual with hands-on installation, repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul experience for advanced mechanical systems incorporating automated conveying, sorting, storage and pick to light or similar retrieval systems.
Activities:
*** Install, repair, set up, test, overhaul, and train operators on complex material handling systems incorporating conveyors, sorters, robots, and other automation.
*** Repair, replace, or upgrade gear motors, cross belt sorters, pushers, hydraulic pistons, actuators, servos, controllers, wiring, etc.
*** Program and tune PLCs, modify logic in controllers and update programs.
*** Work with millwrights during installation, commissioning, and overhaul of equipment and attachments.
Requirements:
*** 3+ years in a similar role with experience troubleshooting PLCs, electromechanical systems, automated guided vehicles, conveyors, sorters, or similar with a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
