Seeking individual with High School diploma or equivalent with mechanical and electrical plant maintenance repair experience who can diagnose and test equipment and then correct malfunctions or make improvements.

Activities:

*** Make adjustments, installations, fabrications and modifications of equipment to maintain or improve safety and quality of operational conditions or equipment efficiency.

*** Maintaining and troubleshooting the following types of equipment:

CNC MACHINE TOOLS

Vertical Milling Centers
Horizontal Milling Centers
Multi-Axis Turning Centers
Cylindrical Grinding Machines
Bed Mills, Smart Turning Centers
High Production Multi-Axis Chuckers and Cells

MANUAL MACHINE TOOLS

Mills
Lathes
Grinders:ID., OD., Surface, Gear, Centerless, Rotary, Vertical
Sanders
Dust Collectors
Arboga Drilling Machines, Powermatic Machinery
Rebuilt Bridgeport Milling Machines and Heads

FABRICATION MACHINE TOOLS

Water Jet
Cutting, Positioning, Welding
Brakes, Shears, Punch Presses
Shears, Brakes, Rolls
Ironworkers
Horizontal Band Saws
Vertical Band Saws
Presses

*** Remove and replace major electrical components (such as motors, switch/control gear) and troubleshoot compact electrical circuits safely.

*** Programmable controller adjustments including some testing, debugging and modifying of program code, implementation of input/output systems, and management of associated programmable hardware such as input/output cards, backplanes, processor and various other logic components.
