Design LED lighting products for linear indirect and direct fixtures, with special optical components such as LED TIR collimator or waveguide.

*** Contribute to lighting product development cycle from concept idea thru feasibility, modeling, tolerancing, and prototyping.

*** Utilize Lighttools and Solidworks to create optical 3D models and part drawings optical parts for LED lighting systems per project specifications, including LED lens, reflector, louver, edge-lit parts, etc.

*** Evaluate LED or other light source components with integration sphere, gonio-photometer, microscope, etc.

*** Generate manufacturing technical requirements for designed optical parts and ensure part quality meets project requirements.

*** Maintain and improve optical efficiency for current products.
