About:

*** Establish a new regional operation as the head underwriter and producer.

*** Develop relationships with customers, producers, agents, and reinsurers.

*** Underwrite small to middle market standard contract surety accounts for general contractors and similar.

*** Review complex submissions, profitable premiums, account losses, and pricing models.

*** Assess contract bond applications to evaluate, classify, and rate each risk to determine acceptability and rating.

*** Analyze applicant's financial statements, collateral, and related due diligence.

Requires 5+ years relevant experience in a contract surety underwriting group.
