Responsible for the technical support of a regional corrosion control and pipeline integrity program.

Activities:

*** Install and maintain cathodic protection systems and internal corrosion control equipment.

*** Conduct internal and external evaluations of natural gas pipelines to evaluate new or existing corrosion, assess the condition of pipeline coatings.

*** Gather annual pipe-to-soil survey data, document rectifier readings and troubleshoot rectifier units.

*** Provide assistance with running in-line digital metal loss and stress corrosion cracking inspection tools, writing associated action plans, performing and documenting inspections, and writing closure reports.

*** Gather and analyze data, prepare corrosion control recommendations and participate in corrosion mitigation measures.

Experience:

*** 3+ years experience performing inspections and maintenance of Corrosion Control and Cathodic Protection systems for pipelines.

*** Ability to read, interpret and record data from CIS, DCVG or ACVG surveys and Pipeline Current Mapping.

*** NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) Certification
