Seeking NACE Certified Corrosion Control Technician with a minimum of a CP1 and experience working on corrosion control solutions for gas and oil pipelines. Shall oversee and supervise subcontractors and external technicians. Visit testing stations on the length of the pipeline perform annual cathodic protection surveys.

Minimum Qualifications:

*** Strong understanding of various Corrosion Control techniques including Cathodic Protection using galvanic or sacrificial anodes on pipelines and terminals.

*** Demonstrated ability to read, understand and document survey data from activities including Close Interval Surveys, Direct and Alternating Current Voltage Gradient surveys and Pipeline Current Mapping.

*** Experience using Cathodic Protection Data Management systems (CPDM) to input captured data from field surveys and tests.

*** Ability to oversee contractors working on testing stations, performing interference testing, installing deep well anode systems and repairing or maintaining cathodic protection testing stations.

Stand-Out Factors:

*** H.S. Diploma, A.S. or B.S. in Corrosion Technology.

*** Strong understanding of regulations from the Department of Transportation, including 49 CFR 192, 193 and 195.
