Seeking take charge personality to assume responsibility for corrosion control program and related projects. Develop and implement procedures to identify and mitigate corrosion damage to pipework and structural systems. Design, install, and maintain corrosion control facilities.

RELOCATION TO ARIZONA REQUIRED

Job responsibilities:

*** Oversee corrosion monitoring and mitigation program with focus on maximum efficiency, within budgetary and resource parameters

*** Design cathodic protection and corrosion control systems to ensure effective integrity management for natural gas pipeline and storage grid.

*** Develop and administer capital and maintenance budgets

*** Oversee direct and in-direct reports: conduct performance evaluations, provide training and motivation for employees. Determines resource needs, directs hiring and orientation of new staff.

*** Troubleshoots field issues thru on-site surveying and-or research, coordinate with Production, Operations and Maintenance engineers to identify and resolve problem.

*** Generates and maintains required records, data, reports and notifications to regulatory agencies, outside vendors, or customers.

Requirements:

*** BS Engineering discipline, OR

*** NACE International CP-4 certification, will consider CP-3 on path to attain Level 4.

*** 5+ years experience in energy pipeline operations, risk evaluation and mitigation, and corrosion control

*** Experience in design, construction and operation of corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection programs

*** Knowledge of DOT Part 192 Regulations and utility operations and pipeline right-of-way guidelines
