Description
Studio developing the next generation of music and rhythm action games seeks industry experienced Audio Programmer to lead development of custom audio tools and integration of proprietary audio into its next franchise.
Exciting opportunity to build and implement new tools that enhance gameplay through:
*** Immediate audio feedback based on player actions.
*** 3D atmospheric audio spatialization.
*** Real time audio visualizers.
*** Synchronizing video and audio with controller input to reduce latency.
Requires:
*** C++ programming expertise.
*** Experience programming audio digital signal processing (DSP).
*** Experience with existing audio engines (FMOD, ADX2, etc.) dealing directly with audio samples.
*** Practical experience developing audio software, including audio engines and audio plugins.
*** Experience with disk streaming, multi-track streaming, multi-threaded streaming, lossless compression, MIDI, etc.
