Supervise team of 5 + professionals preparing and analyzing chemical and environmental samples using chromatograph, spectrosopy, microscopy and related instrumentation.

*** Coordinate scheduling, preparing, and analyzing samples based on method requirements and sample holding times within turnaround time.

*** Involves samples such as Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Polychlorinated Biphenyl, Pesticides, Herbicides, Semivolatile Organic Analysis using Gas Chromatography and Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometry.

*** Ensure appropriate testing procedures are conducted in compliance with Quality Assurance and Standard Operating Procedure requirements.

*** Calculate, check, and report data in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures.

*** Enter and approve data in Laboratory Information Management System.

*** Develop improved techniques with team members.

*** Oversee safe laboratory practices, including handling procedures for chemicals and unknown environmental samples.
