Develop and maintain an appropriate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) solution to support evolving needs of high throughput assay platforms including biochemical, metabolites, and phenotypes.

Activities:

*** Map laboratory workflows for automated bioassay platforms and work with management to identify optimal LIMS solution for immediate and future needs.

*** Implement LIMS and work with external vendors and internal developers to extend LIMS as needed for continuing support of changing workflows.

*** Install and maintain bioinformatics and analytical packages in Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.

*** Develop custom data reports for project management and build data access and analytical tools for scientists.

*** Support development of complex data analysis batch processes and databases intended for automated data mining.

*** Train laboratory personnel in use of interactive components of the LIMS.
