Starting with responsibility for small component design projects managed from concept through fabrication and commissioning into larger systems and gradually working up to handling entire machine projects as a manager.

Types of sub-projects for custom machine orders you might handle:

*** Sheetmetal housings, structural framework, castings, stampings, machined components, Conduit, tubing, etc.

*** Pumps, compressors, motors, etc.

*** Actuator systems involving pistons, cylinders, valves, pumps, etc.

*** Power transmission systems using motor boxes, gear boxes, bushings, bearings, gears, etc.

*** Motion systems involving mechanical, electromagnetic, hydraulic and pneumatic drives.

Requires 3+ years hands-on experience working with an engineering team designing machinery and machine components using 2D & 3D modeling and drawing software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, TurboCAD, CATIA or similar.
