Seeking individual experienced in design and validation of templates, guides, woodworking jigs, fixtures, and related for woodworking projects in furniture manufacturing utilizing laminated or formed plywood materials.

Activities:

*** Design jigs and fixtures for the assembly line to simplify process and improve ergonomics.

*** Liaison between design engineering and manufacturing department on new products and product changes to provide timely design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures.

*** Meet with external vendors to order custom tooling and fixture components unable to be produced in-house.

*** Utilize feedback from manufacturing floor to improve fixtures, jigs, tools, and manufacturing cell layout.

Requirements:

*** 3+ years similar experience with hands-on design and fabrication of fixtures, jigs, templates, guides, etc.

Competitive salary to $80,000 plus end of year bonus potential. Company pays for full medical, dental and vision plans. Paid time off from start for vacations, personal and sick days. Company matched 401(k).
