Immediate opening for Public Company Management Liability Underwriter to grow an assigned book of Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Management Liability business for Public Companies by leveraging established broker relationships to service the management liability coverage needs of their largest customers.

Duties:

*** Reviews applications and financial requirements to determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

*** Price risk based on financial and competitive analysis, rating methodology, and predictive modeling tools.

*** Analyze information on adverse underwriting decisions, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status, and declinations to drive results within assigned territory.

*** Manage assigned portfolio to achieve gross written premium, profitability, rate, retention, product mix, new business and portfolio management goals.

*** Identify cross sell opportunities and create growth within other lines of business and customer segments.

*** Develop producer relationships to build pipeline, improve agency intelligence, and drive performance.

*** Develop and implement distributor specific plans, monitor performance, and adjust plan to ensure a substantial pipeline for future profitable growth.

*** Build and maintain rigorous sales practices using SalesForce.com and other sales tools and disciplines.
