*** Oversee projects that fall outside of the abilities or authority of production underwriters.

*** Underwrite higher level risks from established clients.

*** Manage results for the overall book of business.

*** Assess submissions from production underwriters and assess coverage, limits, and pricing.

*** Develop pricing strategies, rating approaches, and advanced techniques.

Requires extensive hands-on underwriting expertise and expert knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best-practices. Must be able to evaluate underwriting team members' work and provide input regarding underwriting decisions, rates, pricing, and coverage limits.
