*** Train and evaluate those involved claims appraisals.

*** Provide technical and procedural assistance to junior insurance professionals regarding claims appraisal process.

*** Assist moderate to higher complexity claims through total loss opinions, auto repair shop and independent adjuster appraisal re-inspections, and supplemental appraisals.

*** Provide technical advice on vehicle repair, parts costs, garage expertise, and whether specific damage is related to a particular accident.

*** Prepare itemized appraisals indicating costs of parts, materials, and labor necessary to restore damaged vehicles to pre-damage condition.

*** Review appraisals before submittal to claims personnel or issue of payments to policyholders and claimants.

*** Complete auto repair facility and independent re-inspections and supplements to verify damage or confirm repairs are completed.

*** Resolve disagreements and negotiate with auto repair facilities, Independent Adjusters, claimants and policyholders.
