Description
Seeking individual well-versed in metrology and instrumentation installation, maintenance, and repair.
Activities:
*** Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain: flow measurement systems, automatic gas samplers, calorimeters, hydrometers, densitometers, process gas chromatographs, moisture analyzers, odorization systems, pH and conductivity meters, orifice plates, on-line gas and liquid chromatographs.
*** Connect, disconnect, test, troubleshoot, and replace instrumentation.
*** Develop and maintain test schedules and ensure proper documentation of results and escalation of problems.
Qualifications:
*** Experience with installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic instrumentation and systems for a chemical plant, petrochemical refinery, power generation facility, petroleum transmission, or similar.
*** Demonstrable experience with repair, installation, maintenance and overhaul work on pneumatic, electrical and electronic instrumentation, control and plant safety systems, including telemetry, laboratory, control, computer and alarm systems.
