Inside Sales Trainee - Packaging - Lakehurst, NJ

My client is a global industry leader in the design and manufacturing of plastic rigid containers serving some of the most recognized and respected brands, including Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, and Pepsi to name a few. As a company fully invested in their associates, they provide hands-on training opportunities, unlimited access to industry innovations, and motivation for career development. There is currently an opening for an Inside Sales Trainee.

Receiving extensive training in company products and customers. The training program will include one on one training with a Senior Marketing & Sales mentor, exposure to key departments, and plant operations. After successful completion of the training, trainees will be given the opportunity to generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

*** Contact existing and prospective customers to build, develop, and maintain relationships, via meetings, phone, and email.

*** Learn and understand the processes used and the quality systems employed.

*** Use technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.

*** Assess application of company products and services to offer solutions that meet customer needs.

*** Gather market and customer information.

Desired Experience:

*** Aptitude for technology.

*** Relevant internships or experience.

*** Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
