Seeking Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline, solid understanding of heat treating equipment function and processes and knowledge of machining tools and practices applied to aerospace component manufacturing including welding, coating, heat treatment, machining and sheetmetal fabrication.

Shall:

*** Execute and monitor engineering initiatives in compliance with NADCAP to provide continual improvement and conformance.

*** Interpret metal and surface treatment specifications and map appropriate manufacturing processes, fixtures and tooling.

*** Performs testing and run coupons for hardness and metallurgical testing.

*** Coordinate first article work, validate and certify process.

*** Oversees design and heat treatment fixturing and tooling.

*** Develop and implement procedures for rework or repair due to nonconformance.

*** Research and implement new technologies for cost savings and process improvements.

*** Write procedures and train.
