Activities:

*** Independently plan details of projects.

*** Coordinates process, equipment and product design and development.

*** Design and conduct tests, analyze and interpret test results and prepares reports summarizing methods employed and results.

*** Provide "expert" technical support to technicians and production personnel in response to production issues, improvement implementation, and preventative maintenance.

*** Analyzes manufacturing process capabilities and provide manufacturability support to product development team.

*** Develop new or improved processes.

*** Develop new formulations through hands-on experiments to meet plating specifications and improve reliability, consistency, cost; quality; scrap; process safety and environmental impact.

*** Source and collaborate with suppliers on new equipment, processes, tooling and materials to support the plating operation.
