Description
Seeking professional field service talent to provide routine maintenance, repair, and contract specialty professional services for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Benchtop Laboratory Equipment.
Activities:
*** Provide on-site and in-house technical services including diagnostics, troubleshooting, installation & qualifications, training, repair, preventative maintenance and calibrations for lab equipment.
*** Communicate with customers as needed to troubleshoot, diagnose or provide repair updates.
*** Identify and communicate new sales or customer service opportunities as identified in the course of fulfilling service functions
*** Travel to customer locations as required; overnight travel should be expected.
*** Prepare and lead training discussion among service team.
*** Learn new software or technology as needed to stay current and competitive.
Experience Sought:
*** Hands-on knowledge of NMR systems by any of the following: Nanalysis, NM Ready, Bruker, Oxford, Magritek, Spinsolve, Nuimag, PicoSpin, Buck Scientific, Resonance Systems, etc. and be
*** Familiarity with basic component parts such as: Microcontroller, RF Generator, RF Transceiver, NMR Probe, Data Acquisition System, Magnet Assembly, Coil, Sample Handler, etc.
*** Ability to use pressure & vacuum gauges, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and have a good electromechanical aptitude.
