Field Service - Cement Manufacturing Equipment - Old Bridge, NJ
Field Service Mechanic Tech Technician Install Repair Maintain Maintenance Conveyors Cranes Mining Equipment Machinery Vibratory Vibrating Sorting Bucket Belt Mining Diesel Engines Hydraulic Pumps Aggregate Coal Ore Cement _ .
Provide "expert" support, direction and hands-on help to the Maintenance Teams of sand mine and cement manufacturing and bagging operations.
This is more than a mechanic position and we seek individual who can see the "big picture" and help optimize equipment reliability and productivity, maximize utilization of system capabilities, suggest process improvements, help reduce plant costs and help maintenance leadership to be most effective.
Activities:
*** Continually inspects and evaluates mechanical components of the facility and equipment for effectiveness and reliability.
*** Reviews, plans, and schedules maintenance repair and preventive maintenance activities for the plant.
*** Explains and coordinates tasks and performance standards to technicians within the Maintenance Department.
*** Investigates and resolves unusual problems or difficulties in performing maintenance projects.
*** Collaborates and coordinates with department teams regarding maintenance projects and priorities.
*** Analyzes and reports progress of maintenance projects.
*** Coordinates with plant management on priorities and schedules for plant maintenance and capital projects.
*** Recommends equipment modification to plant management.
*** Coordinates with storeroom personnel concerning the amount of supplies and parts needed for maintenance activities.
Requirements:
*** Extensive knowledge of equipment and machinery used in mines and lime crushing operations.
*** Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations.
*** Track record in maintenance and repair procedures on industrial equipment specific to the production of cement such as bucket conveyors, kilns, mills, air separators, pumps, etc.
*** General knowledge of welding, machining, electro-mechanical concepts, pipe fitting, etc.
*** Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Excellent growth potential in this position, great hourly rates and overtime, earn up to $125,000 per year to start! Full medical, dental and vision benefits, matched 401(k), paid training and tuition reimbursement. PTO from start and paid holidays and vacations.
