Service diagnostic imaging equipment including installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of specialized imaging equipment, such as MRI or CT systems.

Shall:

*** Provide technical support via telephone or on-site in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and established policies and procedures, including scheduled maintenance, equipment inspection, repairs, adjustments, calibrations, and safety testing of MRI and CT imaging equipment.

*** Establish equipment performance baselines, including documentation of inspections and evaluations.

*** Interpret test results and make recommendations to solve performance deficiencies.

*** Perform repairs and electrical safety testing on biomedical instrumentation.

*** Service networked equipment such as DICOM and PACS.

*** Adhere to performance metrics of call closure, parts returns, estimated time to repair, uptime, and others.

*** Demonstrate exceptional customer service with physicians, patients, residents, visitors, staff, and the broader health care community.

*** Serve as a reference for clinical engineering and clinical staff regarding operation and maintenance of clinical equipment.

*** Perform administrative responsibilities, including work order control, maintenance history records, safety inspection requests, and repair parts inventory records.

*** Assist evaluation and selection of new equipment, accessories, and supplies, and write detailed purchase specifications.

*** Assist in development of a calibration program for electronic and safety testing equipment.

*** Supervise, mitigate, and maintain quality control of services provided by outside vendors.
