Seeking Controls Programmer to join a large, growing manufacturer of customized warehouse automation systems found in big box retail warehouses, airports, manufacturing facilities, post and parcel distribution systems, etc.

Requires experience programming, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, debugging, and re-writing code for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and related controls hardware. Must have experience connecting controllers with AC and DC drive systems, industrial power conditioners, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Shall:

*** Troubleshoot and program machine mounted control systems and test communication with centralized SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) network.

*** Connect and test power distribution, servo motors, actuators, motion sensors, touchscreen HMI panels, etc.

*** Test controller programs, debug, and modify code.

*** Train customers on proper operation and basic maintenance of controls systems.
