Assure success of National Claims Operations by developing sustainable business strategies to expand the company profile in the marketplace, retain and grow existing book of business, develop additional client relationships, and expand network of claims professionals.

Shall:

*** Develop business unit growth and execution strategy, including field and in-office services, CAT vs. daily services, property & casualty and other lines of business, etc.

*** Assume primary accountability for developing and executing annual and multi-year financial goals and budgets, developing long-term and nearer-term budgets and reporting requirements.

*** Manage the overall, routine financial performance of the group including assuring group goals are met and intervening as needed with billing, collections and write-offs.

*** Provide direct and indirect supervision of national claims operation workforce, carrying out associated human resources management responsibilities: selection, engagement, performance management, recognition, training and development, and problem-resolution of assigned staff.

*** Develop back-office functions to support regional leaders, managers, and adjusters and ensure successful delivery quality service from assignment intake to assignment completion.

*** Establish and maintain positive industry relationships with clients and prospective clients, brokers, agents, contractors, competitors, and industry-related professionals to gather business intelligence, retain existing clients, and generate new business development opportunities.

*** Participate in the Request for Proposal process, including assessing contract proposals and developing responses.

*** Consult with corporate counsel on contracts, employment agreements, and employee litigation matters.

*** Ensure client inquiries on invoice audits are responded to timely and accurately.
