*** Create new or modify existing experimental formulas and finalize paint formulas.

*** Produce batches of paint based on existing and new formulations.

*** Develop moderately complex formulations with existing products including multiple raw material substitutions, modification of performance properties, and similar.

*** Analyze factors that influences paint properties and interactions between raw materials.

*** Perform product testing and application testing: identify and prioritize tests to perform and analyze performance properties.

*** Anticipate and understand impact of calculations and recalculations of materials.

*** Generate, summarize, and communicate results to management and clients.

*** Serve as subject matter expert related to structure-property relationships for coating chemistries (primarily on epoxy chemistry), paint formulations, raw materials, and similar.
