Major insurance company seeks a knowledgeable attorney experienced in the litigation process to provide high quality and cost-effective legal representation and excellence as part of a legal team. Support Claims, Policy Development, Risk Management and other departments of major insurance company

Shall:

*** Litigate cases to verdict using advanced trial techniques.

*** Handle a caseload with moderate level of severity and complexity from case inception through trial or resolution.

*** Conduct legal research as necessitated and supervise research projects.

*** Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other file documents.

*** Attend court events and other appointments.

*** Learn and understand claims customer expectations and key department business goals.

*** Provide recommendations and case analysis to business partners on appropriate file handling strategy.

*** Build and maintain superior internal and external client relationships.

*** Complete all required administrative tasks including time reporting, closed cases, and reports.

Environmental Insurance Lines and Classes involved include but are not limited to: Toxic Tort; Environmental General Liability Exposures; Premises Pollution; Premises Pollution Healthcare; Environmental Impairment Liability - EIL; Pollution Legal Liability - PLL; Contractors Environmental Liability, Professional Liability, Storage Tank and Transmission Liability; Chemical Risks; Pesticides; Asbestos; Herbicides; etc.
