Seeking Manufacturing Engineer with experience overseeing and managing production processes for devices incorporating servo motors, digital sensors, hydraulic and pneumatic pistons, and custom engineered casings.

Shall:

*** Oversee a team of 10+ manufacturing engineers with responsibility for specific components and sections of products and equipment such as robot arms, remote controlled vehicles, or similar.

*** Manage production activities and ensure floor layouts, processes, quality checks, and SOPs follow a Lean Manufacturing focus and adhere to Six Sigma protocols.

*** Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future product failures.

*** Empower manufacturing engineering team members to escalate issues and revise assembly, test, and alignment procedures.

*** Ensure products are transitioned effectively from design to full scale manufacturing, evaluate necessary changes to production procedures to meet medium to high volume production requirements.

*** Oversee raw materials inventory, subassembly and component purchase, and in-house fabrication of parts.

Required:

*** Four or more years directly managing manufacturing engineers and expert knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, DFM, SPC, Failure Analysis, Gage R&R, Process Capability studies, Root Cause Analysis and control limits.

*** B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.

*** Ability to lead a group of engineers and ensure all manufacturing activities follow quality standards.
