Industry leading global provider of material handling systems seeks individual with experience managing an engineering department working to develop and implement electrical and digital controls aspects of large-scale material handling and conveying operations.

Activities:

*** Design, evaluate and approve of work flows and establish reporting relationships for personnel prior to project launch.

*** Own project activities from design through commissioning of material handling systems in customer plants and warehouses.

*** Ensure project timelines are followed, milestones are completed, and deliverables are submitted on time and within budget.

Requirements:

*** BSEE or equivalent.

*** 3+ years Engineering Project Management experience, able to grow into an Engineering Manager role overseeing all major departmental activities for large projects.

*** Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling and drafting software.

*** Solid experience in both AC & DC power distribution and programmable control systems.

*** Expertise in Material Handling System design and implementation, must be familiar with small, and large turnkey systems incorporating conveyor and sorter systems.
