Power generation company with expansion and growth plans seeks experienced Electrician with background supporting a natural gas fired power generation plant.

Qualifications:

*** Background maintaining, repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting, upgrading, calibrating, adjusting, and overhauling electrical and power generation equipment at a natural gas power plant, or similar.

*** Experience installing, setting up, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining generators, pumps, etc. for steam or gas turbine systems.

*** Advanced knowledge of switchgear, relays, motor control circuits, industrial lighting, electrical power circuits, high voltage power distribution, compressors, drivers, etc.

*** Experience with instrumentation and equipment such as: Chromatographs, Calorimeters, Densitometers, Moisture analyzers, Electrostatic Discharge and Uninterruptable power supply systems, electronic odorization systems, pH and conductivity probes, analytical equipment, etc.

*** Hands-on expertise with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, remote terminal units, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and DCSs (Distributed Control Systems).

*** Experience reading and using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pressure readings, etc.
