Description
Leading manufacturer of electrical medical devices and diagnostic instruments seeks Electrical Engineer (BSEE or MSEE) with experience in complex, electro-mechanical Medical Device manufacturing.

Shall:

*** Support the new product development and testing department by evaluating electrical and electro-mechanical designs.

*** Create a comprehensive EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) Control Plan outlining design, development, testing, and manufacturing requirements.

*** Review product designs and recommend changes based on EMC Control Plan.

*** Ensure compliance to device safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) for Diagnostic instruments.

*** Initiate electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for products and evaluate results including potential for electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Requires background in Electrical Engineering and Medical Device manufacturing. Must be well-versed in Electromagnetic Interference and Electromagnetic Compatibility for Diagnostic medical devices and instrumentation.
