Seeking Director of Manufacturing Operations to exercise complete ownership over the entire day to day and strategic manufacturing operations of a unique multi-process clinical manufacturing facility for microbiome therapeutics by establishing a foundation for the operations at our under construction clinical manufacturing site, including developing training programs and building, coaching, and managing a team of manufacturing associates.

Duties:

*** Develop protocols, processes, and guidelines as you manage the overall production and capacity, and implement manufacturing processes and methods.

*** Build and coach a team of manufacturing associates and oversee team adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, standard operating procedures, OSHA, safety and other requirements.

*** Ensure manufacturing operations are in strict compliance with appropriate current Good Manufacturing Practices, with our Bioprocess Development and Supply Chain groups, and other project or product teams.

*** Utilize Lean Manufacturing, problem solving, and root cause analysis for improvement initiatives and deviation investigations.

*** Create and maintain operation documentation and communication boards including Process Flow Charts, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, visual aids, control charts, and operations metric charts.

Desired Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.

*** 10+ years of experience building and managing a manufacturing team in the biotechnology or biologics industry.
