Teams Activities:

*** Designing, assembling, and testing novel optical semiconductor devices.

*** Developing specifications for components and performing quantitative simulations to validate device designs.

*** Assemble and test devices (lab automation, controls & measurements).

*** Test, diagnose, and repair assembled devices.

*** Develop manufacturing processes for packaging and writing optical devices and gratings.

Desired Experience:

*** Masters or PhD in Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.

*** Experience working with and developing Optical Semiconductors and Lasers.

*** Knowledge of gratings, fiber lasers, and amplifiers.
