Director - Medical Affairs - Parkinson's & Multiple Sclerosis - Deerfield, IL

Description
Lead Medical Affairs activities during drug launch and post-launch efforts for novel biologics treating diseases affecting the Central Nervous System such as Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, etc.

M.D., D.O., or equivalent required.

Shall:

*** Facilitate long-term planning with strategic input into lifecycle management activities incorporating up-and-coming products, generic approvals, future additional indications, adverse drug effects and other potential risk and benefits for physicians and patients.

*** Manage interactions with external stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders to garner support for the drug and demonstrate patient and economic value based on data generated during clinical trials.

*** Assess market influence and analyze performance against competitor offerings.

*** Champion educational and marketing initiatives focused on acceptable interactions with HCPs, providers, payors, and prescribers. Verify materials are accurate and acceptable according to compliance standards.

*** Act as a bridge between all aspects of new drug development and commercialization, interface with clinical development teams, medical affairs, marketing, and key external stakeholders.
