Support design, development, documentation, and scale-up of new methacrylate adhesive products for bonding engineered plastics, advanced composites, metals, and other dissimilar substrates to satisfy business goals.

The Job:

*** Design highly-focused and data-driven new product development projects including identifying project goals within a stage-gate process, establishing a test strategy, conducting laboratory evaluations, and issuing final comprehensive reports.

*** Develop, synthesize, support, and record adhesive compositions based on methacrylate, epoxy, urethane or polyurethane chemistries for near- and long-term support and new product development needs.

*** Interact with customers to translate objectives, product parameters, and beta test results into new product development projects and complete development process.

*** Determine design, formulation, and product specifications to maximize ease of manufacturing.

*** Coordinate with internal shareholders on technology transfer from R&D to scale-up and commercialization.

*** Coordinate lab functions, lab duties, technical support, and overall daily project management with appropriate lab personnel and other departments.

*** Assist in training /direction of new personnel, sales and distributor reps.
