Seeking experienced thin film coating manager with experience designing multi-layer optical thin films, managing engineers and technicians, planning and scheduling, and interfacing with clients.

Shall:

*** Direct, train, and schedule engineers and coating technicians.

*** Develop and manage schedules and timelines for optical thin film production.

*** Lead review and technical oversight of multi-layer optical thin films applied to filters, mirrors, and lenses.

*** Oversee thin film design, process development, and sustainment.

*** Evaluate current equipment, recommend upgrades or modifications, or purchase new equipment.

*** Develop and manage annual budgets.

*** Evaluate products, test capabilities, inspect quality, and ensure client approval.

Education:

*** MS in Materials Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering, etc. Must be well versed in thermal evaporation, E-Beam PVD, sputtering, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), etc.
