Seeking Attorney to handle all aspects of Insurance and Reinsurance coverage analysis, litigation and arbitration activities for long-tail liability business portfolios including asbestos, environmental and construction defect cases.

Responsibilities include:

*** Managing legal analysis and litigation decisions for complex insurance and reinsurance coverages while leading collaborations with outside counsel throughout litigations, arbitrations and other resolution proceedings.

*** Providing legal advice to multiple departments within the company on diverse legal issues including coverage advice, review of proposed settlement agreements and review of contracts, etc.

*** Analyzing and approving motions, pleadings, appeals, litigation plans, budgets, etc.

*** Appearing at court conferences, mediations, arbitrations, witness interviews, trials, etc.

Qualifications:

*** 5+ years experience practicing insurance law with documented success in all aspects of litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution proceedings.

*** Hands on experience in complex insurance and/or reinsurance coverage analysis and associated litigation activities arising from long-tail liability insurance claims.
