Seeking NACE certified Corrosion Technician with experience inspecting, surveying and reporting on the condition of corrosion control and cathodic protection systems for gas pipelines, terminals and company owned LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) assets.

Job Activities:

- Local travel covering a section of pipeline with a team of corrosion technicians and engineers, inspect rectifier systems for cathodic protection solutions, recommend maintenance of equipment and replacement of sacrificial anodes.

- Work with a team of technicians and subcontractors to repair and maintain cathodic protection test stations, perform interference testing and manage contractor activities installing deep wells.

- Enter data from field tests and surveys into Cathodic Protection Data Management Systems.

- Perform annual survey activities on pipeline sections located in the area of responsibility, record concerns and recommend service or inspection activities along with preferred subcontractors.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years Corrosion Control experience, at least one year in field performing Pipeline Corrosion Control inspections.

- NACE Certification in Cathodic Protection.

- Strong understanding of regulations from the Department of Transportation, including 49 CFR 192, 193 and 195.

- Strong ability to read, interpret and record data gathered from Close Interval Surveys, Direct or Alternating Current Voltage Gradient surveys and Pipeline Current Mapping.
