Description
Major Distributor of Material Handling Systems seeks a Controls Engineer to bring their knowledge and expertise into play, assisting customers in manufacturing industries such as aerospace, automotive, food and beverage, and apparel.
The Controls Engineer shall design, develop and implement Material Handling Systems used for vision inspecting, cutting, welding, filling, packaging, assembling, palletizing, and many other capabilities.
Shall Also:
*** Program, troubleshoot, debug, and modify code for machine controllers, sensors, actuators, servos, and human machine interfaces.
*** Complete electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, flow diagrams, manuals, etc.
*** Ensure all power, sensor, vision and motion components of machinery can communicate properly with controls systems.
*** Select controllers, sensors, machine vision, motors, servos, actuators, power modules, transformers, fuses, etc. based on application and control requirements.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent certifications, at least five years in designing systems, integrating hardware and software, and supporting specifications for Material Handling Systems or related equipment.
