Provide scientific support to prospective customers by promoting genomics and bioinformatics product suites for Next Generation Sequencing applications throughout the pre-sales process, and post-sales via customer training and consultative engagements by phone, email, remote video, or in person.

Responsibilities:

*** Represent company at trade shows and scientific conferences to support sales of platform, applications and processes.

*** Generate scientific interest in products by presenting customized demonstrations to potential customers.

*** Provide scientific input into sales process through need identification, designing scientific pipeline, and performing feasibility studies.

*** Lead successful Proof of Concept services projects to promote consumer confidence in technology and products.

*** Consult with prospects and customers to design and propose scientific solutions leveraging company and partner applications to enable customer scientific objectives.

*** Solve platform, application, and scientific problems for customers in a pre-sales capacity, supporting sales with solution proposals when necessary.

*** Provide initial and continued scientific training on product platforms.

*** Participate in R&D and marketing projects to support continuous product improvement and new product development by discussing customer ideas and needs for new science and technology and performing proof of principle.
