Distributor of compressors and industrial pneumatic systems seeks field service engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance and repair of compressors and industrial pneumatic systems. Be the human face of customer service team in this young, growing company.

Duties and responsibilities

** Install, set-up and validate new equipment

** Visit customers and assess technical difficulties with Pneumatic Systems involving Rotary and Centrifugal Compressors; Oil free air compressors; Diaphragm compressors and vacuum pumps; Liquid ring and rotary valve compressors; Stationary and portable electric air compressors; Positive displacement blowers; Piping systems; Control and monitoring systems for air compressors; Compressed air and desiccant dryers.

** Communicate and advise customer of options

** Complete repair, re-building, or re-manufacturer of affected components

** Create and sell preventative maintenance programs

** Maintain inventory of replacement parts

** Document activities per company and customer requirements

Company will consider combination of technical degree and related experience, including factory maintenance technician experience. Computer software knowledge is helpful
