Support growth of newly formed compounding department by operating and maintaining equipment producing compounded and extruded plastics.

Activities:

*** Observe and read instruments, gauges, and dials to determine operating conditions.

*** Operate variety of mixing and blending equipment across plant floor.

*** Operate hoists, power, and non-power hand tools.

*** Monitor control panels and make required adjustments in accordance with machine and processing parameters.

*** Maintain accurate inventory by reporting material usage, minimizing wastes, and ensuring measuring devices are properly calibrated.

*** Inspect product and equipment for defects including conducting quality control testing during development runs and protection.

*** Lead changeover, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting activities related to process and compounding area.
