Handle all aspects of underwriting and account management functions of commercial lines property & casualty unit specializing in Transportation, Trucking, and Fleet Insurance products.

*** Assist with capture, design, and management of service platform.

*** Analyze client needs, coverage forms, and quotations during sales process on new and renewal business.

*** Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with Account Managers.

*** Support sales and account executives with service of new and existing clients through promotion of cross selling opportunities, account development, execution of client requests, and similar.

*** Assist clients in submitting first reports of claims and facilitate prompt response from carrier.

*** Market submissions to carriers: prepare application; analyze loss information for new and renewal submissions; submit to eligible and appropriate carriers; follow-up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies; analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages and terms & conditions; and similar.

*** Maintain renewal expirations and avoid lapse in coverages.

*** Prepare written confirmation of new and renewal binding, evidence of coverage, changes to coverage, and related items.

*** Ensure accuracy in agency and document management systems.

*** Obtain Property & Casualty insurance license or similar accreditation.

*** Keep informed of industry trends, competitor product information, legislation, coverages, and technology related to large fleet and trucking insurance products.
