Seeking hard-working underwriting professional with the desire to move from the production floor to a key leadership position responsible for building a profitable team of underwriters.

Duties Include:

*** Leading underwriting department activities focused on building a profitable and sustainable book.

*** Developing strategies to meet upper management profit and production standards.

*** Implementing training methods and personnel development plans to ensure staff are performing according to company agenda.

*** Managing product development activities for current or future products.

*** Ensuring documented rates are aligned with insurance laws and regulations as well as company strategies.

The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years related property & casualty underwriting experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Designations including CPCU, ASLI, AIC or similar are a plus.
