Production Underwriter Commercial Insurance Account Manager Underwriting Wholesale Broker General Liability Property Excess & Surplus _ .

Seeking road warrior sales professional to develop and cultivate relationships with independent insurance agents and retail agencies to generate new underwriting submissions in commercial property E&S insurance for small construction companies, restaurants, retail stores, hotels, motels, light manufacturing, shopping malls and small to mid-sized family-owned businesses.

Shall:

*** Contact retail agents to explain features and benefits of company programs by telephone, e-mail, and in person meetings.

*** Attend meetings to maintain communication with agency departments.

*** Attend off-hours entertainment opportunities to enhance and grow relationships with prospective clients and agency representatives.

*** Solicit new business through various sales and marketing techniques.

*** Develop relationship with the prospect during pre-sale process and be the subject matter expert for plan design, underwriting guidelines, paperwork requirements and implementation process and timelines.

*** Close prospects on company offerings.
