Establish and implement plating line chemical solution controls to ensure plating line capability and availability to meet customer delivery requirements.

*** Initiate and oversee operation of wastewater treatment plant: manage activities of lab and wastewater technicians.

*** Organize, plan, approve orders, and manage storage for chemicals & consumables.

*** Supervise titration (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid based), density measurement (hydrometer, digital density meter), pH (pH meter), concentration analysis (X-ray spectroscopy), contaminant scanning (metals, organics), and similar tank analysis activities to ensure process stability within plating operations.

*** Establish routine hull cell analysis processes and related documentation.

*** Manage, control, and optimize precious metal usage.

*** Oversee plating line activities using True Chem and similar software packages.

*** Drive optimization and standardization of bath chemistries to include round robin testing with outside laboratories.

*** Review and update laboratory work instructions and procedures.

*** Provide technical expertise related to surface technology, electrochemistry, atomic absorption, inductively coupled plasma, and similar.

*** Ensure adherence to National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program and relevant plating standards and lean manufacturing practices.
