Key Functions:

*** Perform refinery and petrochemical process design work and studies relating to revamp of existing units.

*** Maintain and develop design tools and documentation.

*** Coordinate development of Process Flow Diagram and Piping & Instrumentation Design.

*** Run process simulation tools for design and alternate cases.

*** Size process piping and run hydraulics.

*** Develop project specifications including all major equipment.

Necessary Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.

*** 8+ years of refining experience in operation or design.

*** Knowledge of fluidized bed processes, particularly Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC); FCC Reactor, Regenerator equipment including cyclones, feed distributors, steam distributors, catalyst separation systems, steam stripping systems, expansion joints, and side valves; FCC technology as an Owner or Operator, E-rate Productivity Center, Catalyst Manufacturer, or Licensor; and FCC flue gas systems including orifice chambers, third stage separators, wet gas scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, power recovery expanders, flue gas coolers, and CO boilers.
