Seeking high school graduate with multi-tasking skills, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, and 3 + years experience with plastic extrusion machinery to join a leading independent producer of high-performance specialty films used in medical products.

Shall:

*** Set up and operate cast film extrusion machinery and associated equipment.

*** Track production performance metrics including: raw material usage, rejects, scrap rate, down time, etc.

*** Recommend modifications to improve quality, performance, and productivity.

*** Perform quality control testing of raw materials and finished product.

*** Make process parameter adjustments and machine modifications when necessary.

*** Help with the installation of new equipment.

*** Coordinate work order start-ups and product changeovers with other operators, tool room and maintenance.

Requires:

*** Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.

*** High school diploma or equivalent required

*** 3+ years experience in plastics extrusion processing or completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant equivalent training.

*** Ability to work with minimal supervision.

*** Track record of positive safety, quality, productivity, attendance and teamwork.
