Dimensional Metrology Equipment: Coordinate Measuring Machines; Automated Probe Instruments; Measuring Tables; Gage Calibration Equipment; Gage Block Comparators; Micrometers & Supermicrometers; Bearing Measurement Instruments; Digital Laser Measuring Machines; Surface Scanners; Laser Interferometric Instruments; Ball Bars.

*** Evaluate existing gauging for application of use on final product.

*** Purchase plant gauging and Quality instrumentation used to verify product conformance.

*** Set-up and evaluate new calibration procedures submitted by vendors.

*** Calibrate gauging per company procedures and QMS guidelines, including electronic (voltmeters, ammeters, temperature calibrators) and mechanical (pressure gages) instrumentation.

*** Perform gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies on instrumentation and gauges utilized to monitor critical processes and verify product conformance.

*** Identify M&TE, assign unique gage identifier used for tracking, and input associated calibration data into calibration database.

*** Recall M&TE for recertification, track overdue M&TE, and initiate appropriate actions for past due gauging, including issuing Out-of-Tolerance Reports.
