Oversee Quality Managemnt for a precision machining company that manufactures components and assemblies for aircraft and spacecraft using cutting edge CNC machining center technology.

Activities

*** Function as quality interface for all customers, implementing customer specific quality requirements and assuring conformance.

*** Maintain and advance a strong quality team to continually improve customer satisfaction and quality objectives.

*** Plan, lead, promote, train and team in the execution of continuous improvement and quality strategy.

*** Identify and eliminate quality problems at all levels of the organization.

*** Analyzes failures, determines root causes and initiate and follow corrective actions.

*** Maintain and advance metrology and tool maintenance and calibration programs.

*** Sourcing and purchasing Gage R&R equipment and automated coordinate measurement machines and services.

*** Develop, implement and maintain quality methodologies, systems and practices which meet NASA, IPC, and MIL requirements.

*** Develop and implement Advanced Product Quality Plans (APQP) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) working with customers, suppliers and internal engineering and production staff.

*** Oversee internal and supplier quality audits.

*** Participate in contract review process on new customer orders.

*** Source, review and recommend new test equipment.
