Activities:

*** Participate in developing and evaluating designs for turnkey mechanical baggage-handling systems incorporating conveyors, carousels, sortation units, vision systems, barcode scanners, vacuum bag lifters, etc.

*** Plan equipment layout based on facility floorplan and customer requirements.

*** Evaluate cost, manufacturability, and capabilities; modify drawings and plans to meet all customer requirements while staying within budget and timeframe.

*** Specify components and spare parts, identify suppliers and negotiate for large orders.
